kerunix.over-blog.com

I just made a change to my domain over-blog.
http://kerunix.over-blog.com/ now redirects http://www.keru.org/

EXCEPT that the domain registration keru.org just happen and to expect the time for DNS propagation, which can take 24 or 48 hours (often much less than that).

Apart from that, nothing changes. I'm always in over-blog and I intend to stay there, what has changed is that I spent in providing premium (Which entitles me, among others, has a domain name: keru.org)

Condolence Letter From A Church

Vista Dreamscene!

I just tested this "famous" Dreamscene supposedly justifying the purchase of version Windows Vista Ultimate ... but what DAUBE p * tain! all this for ... ca? Play a video as wallpaper? anything else?

Deja is not very nice to have things that move like this in the background ... but it is a matter of taste, never mind. But ... the problem, it does NOTHING else?

I was expecting something like wallpaper that reacts in depending on your actions. For example, a wallpaper image, you click on an icon and it makes a nice effect drop of water on the bottom of the screen. Envrionment or reacts when you move the mouse ... I dunno ... I'm looking but I see that the ability to visualier a video as wallpaper ...

We can see the marketing power of Microsoft able to pass bladders for lanterns!

Make Your Owniheart Boobiesbracelet

Killed by [VAT] DTC

It is through a post on JOL I was fortunate to find that now I paid 20% more cost sim.

Indeed, Linden Lab VAT invoice now has all Europeans. Let
approximately 350US $ / month instead of 295 ... Like that, without warning * * hop

Not to mention the enormous competitive disadvantage compared other countries around the world, the problem is that suddenly my finances will go into the red. A deficit estimated at 500 € / month.
Well, in France we used to be disadvantaged compared to the rest of the world ... m'enfin still ... it hurts.

The solution? Haha! I dunno ...

Radio Shack Rca To Usb Converter

Secondlife in the future.

I attended a few meetings and discussion on the future "server architecture" of secondlife. While this is still in the distant future SecondLife has the scale, it is not so far had the scale of real world and it is particularly important for companies and landbarons.

long been known for some shots of Linden Lab
- Servers opensources
- An open standard protocol and
- A "metaverse" multi-world

Secondlife already uses a protocol type "webservice" (the famous het- grid), which connects on the same grid different client and server that are not necessarily identical (different versions for example). The immediate effect that we know is that it is no longer necessary to close any Linden Lab's grid to update the servers now since different versions of servers can coexist. Same for the client side (the updates are now optional).

Linden Lab thinks big. 50,000 users simultaneously, that's fine. But for this to become the future of the Internet, it takes hundreds of millions. We know very well that the current architecture of Second Life is unable to bear it, and Linden Lab knows it too (and better than us!).

The major points of the future architecture are:
- possibility of accommodation own regions
SecondLife - Decentralisation of inventory management.

For this, Linden Lab remember the term "simulator" that must endure too many dependents, with the lag that we know. A calculator must not only support the management of the region, but also agents (avatars) therein.

In the future architecture, a server will manage the region do more than is necessary for the functioning of the region. And we see appear the concept of agent server that will support your inventory, your communication (chat), your profile, your connection to the world ...

We can therefore have its own agent server and host their own inventory, or use those of a third party service provider (eg your ISP, if supported). A company may also host their own servers for its employees, and even run a grid completely disconnected from la grille principale.

PS: I tried to popularize the maximum. I purposely omitted any details to concentrate on a few vague examples and explanations.

Conference on e-book / paper / ink to the library Francophone

Riviera Yesterday evening, at the French library, a conference was held around the book "Gutenberg 2.0" Speaking of new technology the book, and very precisely on the electronic paper book.

The owner of the library was present, as writer and editor. This past love voice-chat with captioning text-chat and slides on a large screen. Followed by a series of question-answer in text-chat only (not necessitated by, just like that .... I think that many people had no microphone, actually).

e-paper is not so new, it's just stayed very close to the public until this year, and should it appear en masse in 2008. And for good reason: it is Amazon, iTunes is a bit of the book. In short, the book is dematerialized.

Technology is quite simple (in theory, in practice I guess it must be complex):
- A special paper (which is paper, not a screen) which is a layer and an electronic ink that special react to electronic impulses.
- We upload a text in e-book and small electronic machines reposition the ink and the text appears. e-book has a single leaf and "flipping" by pressing a button or turning a knob.
- environmentally friendly, economical (only uses electricity to change the text), light! (Encyclopedic want a cabinet on a single sheet of 170g).

The biggest concern (mine anyway) will be at the file formats used and the compatibility of different e-book. But it stinks in advance the format war Owners ... We'll see ...

Crest Toothpaste Components

A more better

I fill a box here that I posted on JOL and that seems pretty cool:

has a region, a region administer, manage a project, to volunteer for a project, it is primarily pleasure.
There are people in the real world, which take pleasure in making fun, help others, "do something good." Or simply to help others, by religious conviction, by a desire for self-fulfillment, to make a foot-cons in the world RL par conviction politique, par un besoin de reconaissance, ... peu importe la raison en fait.

No, the problem is that considerable energy expenditure (time and money) for 2 years for some to make Second Life a better world. A world where the dream is possible, virtually certainly, but possible. A world where you can discover and express their talents in all serenitée, without being polluted by stupid life. It ensures that these dreams are accessible to the greatest number, it passes between each other by education, training, support personalized sometimes ... This

the world, which I described in my own way but everyone will see what he desires, is in constant danger on the edge. People (that I describe as) malicious are often more active and effective as those who wish to contribute to the common good (or at least what is believed to be the common good). It is easier to do evil that good after all. My

regions are fragile, they require a considerable amount of money (more than 2000 € / month) and time (forty person, excluding tenants finance) simply to exist. ... is not a gift from heaven (I'm not a believer, for that matter) is 2 years of hard work. By "human time" I will not be surprised that you exceed the ten years volunteer effort by the "official" + residents, passersby, accustomed to contributing to the smooth running of these areas.

This is not about to let ONE PERSON endanger all this work done. And whether to ban packs of 12 to save all that we have achieved so far, and to protect what one wishes to accomplish in the future, we will, with few qualms. Spammers, griefers, scammers, advertising "wild" and sellers "on the fly" are a threat to these regions for many reasons.

The sandbox instance is not a free marketplace, if you want to sell you can rent a store, it will help project funding has non-profit. This is not because a project does not profit it does not need money, instead, it costs even more.
to advertise for other regions (which do not contribute to financing these projects) is as much for my loss of earnings and therefore areas for our beautiful projects to make SL a pleasant world. And all this not to mention the inconvenience for the residents of passage that think they can find here a little quiet world where we learn, grow, and even hope to accomplish his dreams. And believe me, complaints related to spam, advertising, we receive ... Package of 12 too.

And if our ideal is not correspond to yours, if you dream of a world without limits is little spammer, where there is pub on every premium, or you can screw the newbie pass without worry ... Feel free to go elsewhere or create your regions. Here we will not let our efforts be made for the exclusive benefit of your personal needs.

It's all a bit bohemian, utopian, idealist, who cares ... Is our home, we have rights and are used for what we feel is best, according to our own worldview.
If you do not share, we will not burn you on a cross, but if you do not follow the scene, or you bounce as unclean.

Abortion Clinic Boston Ma

Artist ... The social hell!

be an artist in taxes is really tranquil.
A form to fill, it takes 10 minutes. then it is entered in SIREN, SIRET was our number. And we can create our invoice ... Easy! And if you do not exceed € 27,000 in CA we do not have to bother with VAT ... Quiet!

The thing is that tax and social security are the two governments which ignore one or the other royally. But each wants its share.

"If any work merit pay, merit pay any dues."

Everyone wants her ... one or the other ... More than any other for that matter ... ESPECIALLY the other! The other ... the damned ... but yes ... it: URSSAFF!

hell and damnation.
While taxes apply a removal efficiency of 37%, because we do not declare their expenses in Proffessional dieting micro-BNC and we necessarily cost (they feel so at 37%) removal efficiency was this pretty . Moreover, no VAT is applied (but we do not recover either, necessarily). It's simple, effective ... I would even say Honet. And if there was a lot of free (over 37%) can go to the actual speed.

For social contribution, is another matter.
Already cool for us to come, they apply a charge of 15% on sales to calculate the contribution base. And it ... they are 15.4%!

I copy-paste:
Example: If you made 10,000 euros sales during 2006, contributions called in 2007 (before being corrected in 2008 based on the actual amount of your sales 2007) s’élèveront au total à : (10000x1,15)x15,4% soit 1771 euros et feront l’objet de 4 appels trimestriels de 443 euros (calcul réalisé : 1771/4).

Mais c’est le prix à payer pour bénéficier d’une couverture social, by the way, is a case (the minimum contributions of an artisan are indeed much higher)! But for budding artists, this minimum does not apply where this artistic activity is a secondary activity.

Ca
hard eh?!

When I close my eyes the image of a long-term unemployed person who has spent his time the school bully of the first class instead of study ... and looks at me with eyes bulging like a dog abandoned on a motorway ... and murmurs "cottise cottise for me ... for me" . I hesitate ... I open the window ...
I yell and accelerating "VA ASSHOLE DIE !!!!!!!"

And if you think I'm a bastard ... Having worked in the factory, I know these are the same people who are the first to spit on "these big pretended unemployed "once they have a job and find that half their pay in dues goes and stuff.

Cruising Vegas Gay Spa

Secondlife on Management Magazine

is the first time that I buy this magazine, but Y'avait really nothing interesting and I found a blanket with 2 mouth "winner" smile sponsored with writing on the side "Learn to cultivate your optimism."
(WEEE with the fucking poOOooooste hrrr ... ... ... hrrr ( see preceding article)).

Well, the article on optimism proves to be fairly bland And this resulted in: "we must be optimistic for positive". Applying their method to the magazine: "For a 4 page article in a magazine to 2.9 € (€ section of 0.22), it's still cheap paid the council, he is also fair game." By

cons (a positive side, wéééééééééé!), There is an article about Second Life, or more precisely of Accenture in Second Life.
400 HP introduced, RL 120 interviews.

Phew! I can positivist)

Wakeboarding Famous Players

heat marcel!

I continue to tweak and it's not finished, I was just starting this level. (I started yesterday in fact: p)

A little effort and composure, my Quadcore is found at 2.4GHz overclocked to 3GHz.
333MHz FSB, multiplier x9.
RAM is a 1066Mhz

But that's not enough, I also overclocked the 8800GTX. The GPU
proceeded 651Mhz (1512Mhz shader for) instead of 576, which is more than a 8800GTX Ultra. The 1050MHz memory
passes instead of 900. Which is slightly less than the Ultra is a 1080Mhz, but I have not tested thoroughly.

I redid the regulation of ventilation, the 8800GTX which was deemed a little too warm for not overheating at all once the adjustment again.
In fact ... it heats less overclocked setting with my personal, non-overclocked with the default settings.

I also forced the openGL settings for Secondlife.
Transparency Antialiasing x16Q
SuperSampling Aliasing
I left the setting of the anisotropy of SL.
All in 1400x1050.
is MUCH nicer with a record 160FPS (max quality). With a setting less I will spend the 200FPS, but it is frankly nothing, and I especially do not want to turn the AA x16;)

I still have tweaking to do, I will able to climb higher without forcing.

Edit: I added the trilinear filtering optimization, I forced the anisotropy in x16, as mipmapping max.

Really Cool Bedroom Chairs

Finally! From

Finally a new post and finally a new PC:)

Quadcore, 768MB 8800GTX, 2GB of RAM, raptor, ... short, but good.
Oh, and also Vista, CA .... works:)

short, now that I have a PC that does not crash every 30 minutes, or a laptop keyboard, and besides I have the opportunity to ask me a bit, I'll be able to rewrite a little more time on SL and finish the mess that I put on Wild Vertigo, among others ... ;)

PC side, it's really, really nag, I have not managed to do rowing with any of my games, as max, with max resolution of my screen (1400x1050), I regretted it cons of not having bought a 2nd screen ... saw the beast it will support the dual-screen without even noticing it. And I blow my scores BOINC has passed.

The Asus P5K Deluxe motherboard is really good fucking ... there is an "auto-overclock" broadly, as I understand, we give a target temperature and hold it. The cores run at 1.6GHz when there's nothing to do, and spend a 2.4Ghz when there 's the job. The cooler is mounted over the huge and everything is really quiet. And cooling is immediately upon cores at 1.6GHz repass the temperature drop of over 10 ° C, has to wait until roughly the temperature of the tower. At full speed (BOINC) I'm a 60 ° C and it does not exceed this temperature.

I read a few of the NVidia docs, and I discovered "CUDA" (and his girlfriends "Tesla"), which allows wholesale program the graphics card C as a 128 CPU cores, it I really need to test ca ... except that the SDK is not yet available for Vista ... pfffff!

short, but good ... or almost:)

Which Paper Towel Is Tronger

interest laws ... Ban SL

... or absence of laws in SL.

The financial world of Second Life is in the spotlight and people criticize the lack of regulation financial sector of SL. It is true that SL has quasiement no law, and the few laws that are passed scream.

The ban ageplay is still disputed, rightly in my opinion.
And recently banned from casinos in SL is much attention (see eg JOL).
Also, the means to fight against "criminals" and the tools of repression are absolutely ridiculous. Remedies against any deficiency will be reduced to their simplest and often the game is not worth the candle. (RL complain for scam 700L $ or 2 Euro? Pff ... a little serious)

Investors "traditional" are cautious about the lack of laws and of regulation. The guarantees are minimal or nil.

Lots of evidence to suggest that a government would be desirable, and that laws are necessary. And yet ... have we really need? No, definitely not.

Let those who want their 3% interest guaranteed to remain in RL, there is already everything you need for that. I'm surprised they even bother to give their opinion. If one day we need you you will sign, but I'm sure we're not near you to sign. You just have to wait at the gates o your RL / SL as the others and look through the SL blogs, you'll get your money. The second life is a game, a game at risk. The residents today are not ready to sacrifice their freedom for safety. Innovation is doing very well, despite the lack of collateral and your money.

Idiots fooled and want laws to satisfy their need for immediate comfort. It's the same in RL, except that these laws do exist and that it does not pleind much as in SL. In RL, the immediate comfort is more important, and then there was only the first life we desire a maximum guarantee of well being. SL is different. Already the second life is not as vital as the first, we can afford to risk our second life, then it is necessarily more delicate to risk RL ... seen that in only one:)

SL is also a world young and evolving more rapidly than the RL. Within a year you can see and create civilizations disappear. Have 4 years in SL is, literally, be as old as time. 4 years is not even a blink of an eye has the scale of humanity RL. All that to say we do not have the same considerations and notions of 'comfort immediate "and" security. " We saw the birth of SL and is probably older Vera's death. Most of us will not even have retirement that SL will be considered as something has-been that the Minitel is the day today.

What To Write Inside A Friends Wedding Card

casinos.

is just my humble opinion that I post here.
ban online gambling, we knew it we hung in his face.

There is a certain hypocrisy or naivety on the part of some casino owners in the reactions which can be found here and there. It was beautiful to look pirouettes Legal information legitimize a casino in SL, it's still pretty shaky pirouettes. For example the fact that we do not play real money ... True, we play L $ intreseque that have no value. But in a casino either RL or do not play real money (at least not always) we play plastic tokens that have no value, it remains nevertheless a casino.

The French law is violent enough to this level, besides she gets knuckles rapped by Europe. In France, all gambling is forbidden by default, and games are permitted exceptions. La Francaise des Jeux and PMU, are state monopolies. The state changes the laws at the whim of the Francaise des Jeux whenever this is necessary for the proper functioning of this monopoly. This is clearly abusive and it is identified as such by Europe. The France didn't no choice but to bow to the rest of europe, namely a relaxation of laws on gambling. And I'm not going to complain.

But in brief, return to SL.
We knew it would happen. We do was not certain of course, but the chances of that happening were really important. That said, it's worth the effort. A good casino in SL is a factory dough, even if this should last a few months, it's worth. And large casinos will not all be wrong.

This gene is a bit of violance and the brevity of the announcement. The expectation is rather an in-between. For example, allow casinos licensed in RL. Besides, it is not impossible to happen one day. After all there are online casinos on the web and they are all there is more legal. The ban sports games surprises me too. And I think we'll see appear the "bookers" street, quite illegal, as in RL, but I do not know what to prevent.
In my humble opinion, it is quite possible that LL reauthorize one day in one form or another gambling in SL. There are several possibilities: Allow licensed casinos, allow casinos on servers that are not hosted by LL (which is not possible for now, but will happen one day).

is the end of an era in SL, cert. But in SL we change times every month. The death of SL was predicted a fairly impressive times, and yet SL is still there and is doing quite well (even better than "old age"). It was

better before ... before many things ... but "it was always better before" and it does not stop either.

ban casinos in SL has absolutely no impact on my SL activities. I find it embarrassing that the RL and its laws are harsh tappent the embedding of more and more in our SL favorites. And in my opinion this is just the beginning. One day the government will stick their nose in there, so that SL is not in their country, in fact SL is in any country. But it will, and we ralera. It ralera by saying that the state has overstepped his rights very much, but we can not cope with the powerful government which has made swallow a majority (we are in democracy) that "it is for our good. "I know what I mean, I do the same on my regions:)

PS: That said, I do not swallow my regions are in a democracy. Despite my anarchist tendencies, that is a good old monarchy.
